Come On FERRARI

Ow God i hope that Ferrari is only showing some starting difficulty in the 2011 Formula 1 season. They are my favourite team and have always been, ever since my first glimpse of their red car on a holiday to Italy. Their pre-season testing looked like they were going to be in great form to beat the Redbulls this season but the first 3 races have shown otherwise.
They are the oldest team in the history of formula one, and they are not just a team who buys their part and engines from different companies they are an in-house racing team, and that is why how ever bad it might be going for them at any point i will always stand my ground and keep being a Ferrari fan, even keep buying that yearly Ferrari polo which costs stupid amounts of money for what it is.
an believe me when Alonso told us at Silverstone last season that he would keep scoring points and be in the top ranks at the end of the last season nobody really believed him but that's what he did and that is FERRARI

Hamilton beat Vettel Last time round

This 3 week break from formula one is killing me, everything just keeps getting better and better. Last time around Hamilton broke the golden seal on the golden boy vettel, who had won every race up until China, which is only two wins but he showed such confidence that i did not see anyone beating him yet. In china it was most properly due to his two stop strategy which did not work out on race, which also showed in the huge drop in both the Ferrari's finishing positions.
Nether the less Hamilton took the top spot on the podium for the first time in 2011.

The new rules are starting to settle in and most teams are copping well with the new tweaks to the regulations, but im a sure that we will see some changes to the DRS (drag reduction system ) in the season. i personally think that they should be allowed to use it all though the racde like they do in qualifying, because as we sometimes see in qualifying it is a skill in it self to open the wing at the right moment, do it to early and you will spin, do it to late and you will have lost out on grid position. but im am sure that the FIA will be listening to drivers and fan's opinions to optimise the new rules.
Looking at the Redbulls pace even without the DRS working, it pretty frighting they still have such phase compared to the other cars. But is it just me or does the front wings on those two Redbulls just bend more than on any other car in the field looking at race footage it just seams like they bend more than the competition ???

Audi A6 Avant Spied

The New A6 Avant hot weather testing, without much covering up the bodywork.
The new model is looking to match the old versions massive bootspace and praticallity.
But are we going to see a new super hot V10 version i certainly hope so, it was amazing. There is no cooler family car out there than the RS6 Avant, so im sure that they will bring out a new version when they are done with the 2012 S8 model

MG or is it Roewe

So the two new MG models are being tested these days and what are´we hearing that they are well worth the MG bag, well are they? Nope they are not.

That me done, no wait i will explain. These two cars are Roewe cars just in a different suit. they have nothing to do with being MG so what if their final assembly is done by 50 fat men somewhere near Birmingham. That does not make it a British car or an MG.

Im not saying that these cars might not grow to be good cars they might i don't know yet. They are just yet another old car image bought and is now ready to be reused. Its a bit like the MINI WHICH IS NOT A BRITISH CAR NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU WANT IT TO BE! This is a German car more specific a BMW 1-series, again just with a different shell. which of course is made to look like the original mini. The best example of this is the Mini countryman and the BMW X1 pictured below

So there you have it New MG's might be good to drive and really cheap but they are Roewe's

Saab, where is the future headed

The Swedish Saab (owned by Spyker) is on its 3rd week with closed down factories. the financial plan which is meant to fall in place between the company and íts banks is not yet in place.Workers are being told to stay at home until this is resolved and suppliers can be paid so there can yet again be produced cars from the firms Swedish factory.

One of the hold-ups regarding the financial situation is concerning some of Saab's facilities which they want to sell off to a Russian buyer to raise capital. But the bank does not favor this solution because it is the plan that Saab will then rent back its facilities from the new Russian owner.
I hope that Saab can find a solution to their financial problems and that they can get on with its plans to renew its model range. I think that this company can really produce some brilliant cars now that its free of GM who have just been killing the company slowly which is such a shame.

Caterham Goes to Team Lotus

And there it is, Team Lotus enterprise now owns Caterham. Good I guess seeing as Caterham cars Builds upon the Principals of Colin Chapman, 'Add Lightness'. This will connect Caterham with the company who originally created the car which the company have been producing all these years.

The good thing is that the current management will stay the same, but they will have a chance to mature under the new ownership, and develop their range of cars. I see this as a positive thing, because it gives a nice British company like Caterham the chance to develop their range, and i am really looking forward to seeing what's going to come out of this new relationship regarding new models, and development.
