webuyanycar.com Please Can you Die In HELL

So we have all seen the the we buyanycar.com adverts(if you live in the UK) (if not check them out www.webuyanycar.com) what they do is pretty simple and can be read from the name, they buy any car new or old, and you can get a estimated price online in minutes. Now i read that they get you the estimated price and then when you turn up at the dealer it is a set goal to mark that price down with 16-28 pro cent no matter whether there is anything wrong or not. Okay that's bad but not enough, they then sell the cars again tough one of their companies one being carcraft.co.uk. So what i did was go on carcraft find a car on sale where you can see the number plat then plug it into webuyanycar.com and see what they would give for a car being sold by themselves i will let you look at the next two pictures so you can see what happened.
Got the car now went onto webuyanycar.com and put in the number plat and got a quote price.
They would only pay 7 235£ which is only the starting price then if this was actually a car i owned, when I arrived at the sales office their goal would be to take a further 16-28 pro cent off the price. That would mean I would only get around 5 209.2£- 6 077.4£ for the car they are trying to sell on their other site for 9 795£ that's nearly 10K for a car they are only paying around 5-6K for, that's a mark up of 100%. I guess that is just business but since it is regarding cars I really don't like the way they do business, I prefer when people deal with each other there is something personal about selling your car on auto-trader having people come and looking at the car, where you will have a talk about the final selling price person to person. So please do all you can to avoid webuyanycar.com it is only a quick cash solution where you get really badly ripped off.

Jaguar C-X75 Featuring Williams F1 team

So Jaguar C-X75 get the green light. Originally it featured two Bladon mini turbines producing power to four electric motors, but instead Jaguar has teamed up with F1 team Williams who is going to provide a brand new 1.6 four cylinder engine which takes 10 000rpm, which is also going to be used by the Williams F1 with the new 2013 F1 engine regulations, which i am not sure has been set in stone yet. The front wheels are going to be drivin by two electric motors each producing around 400bhp and the car is expected to boost around 900bhp all together and be able to beet a Bugatti from 0-62 which should be done in less than 3 seconds. Price for this car is going to be around £700 000 and £900 000, and they will produce 250 cars in the limited run.

I am really looking forward to seeing this car in the skin and hearing what it must be like to drive such a thing. i must admit that i was originally much more excited of Jaguar using turbines which would spin at around 15 000rpm to power the batteries but this new F1 sources engine from Williams does sound like at good other option

Ferrari FF

Forca ferrari = FF, well not exactly but i do feel like that, but it does not seem like i have anything to worry about as a Ferrari fan. Launching a new car the first ever to have four wheel drive, how should we do that??? well lets get the car up on a mountain where it is all covered in snow to show off its four wheel drive system, hmm but you cant drive a car up there, well lets call in the Italian armed forces to help us fly it up there in one of their massive helicopters. So that is what they did and what a success.

So what have they brought to the top of a mountain the new Ferrari FF, it has a 6.3 litre V12 producing 660 bhp which shoots it of from 0 - 62 (0-100) in 3,7 sec. The revolutionary thing about this car is its 4x4 system which is now patented by Ferrari. The system is much lighter than a regular system because it uses a second gearbox for the front wheels where it only has a couple of gears rather than having the full 7 gears like the gearbox for the rear wheels. This can be done because you don't need the 4 wheel drive permanently, so it only kicks in when traction is need, which works really well and keep weight down.
Now the looks, first of i thought that it was only a concept to try the water for what people would think of the styling. I did not like it at all, it looked way to much like an even more ugly Impreza. But now having seen the real pictures and not just the computer drawing im coming around to the concept. I would still by a Maserati Granturismo for its looks but it cannot keep up with the Ferrari's performance and technology, but buying a Ferrari for its practicality just seam a bit wrong to me?

Lamborghini Aventador

First words: Ow really! hmm they haven't really changed much. Yes maybe they have underneath but from where i am looking it does not look that different from what we have seen from Lambo in the past. The stats for this car are pretty amazing, 6.5 litre V12 producing 691bhp, But im not totally won over yet. A super car needs to be super, and i don't know if this bring a fresh enough batch of superness to the table.
Driving it will properly be amazing, German engineering with Italian power and soul YES PLEASE. It ticks all the right boxes when it comes to handling and speed we got the power, now it also features a carbon monocoque, 4 wheel drive, F1 style pushrod suspension which will all make it go like hell.

I like this car but i don't think it is the one that i would buy, no maybe i would go for a Ferrari 458 instead, sorry Lambo

Fiat 500 TwinAir, is it Fun to be Fuel efficient?

The Fiat TwinAir engine, is a 2 cylinder 900cc engine turbocharged to produce 85hp. That might not sound like a hell of a lot, that is because it ain't a lot, but that does not mean that it cant be fun. Fiat has developed this engine to produce more power in a smaller capacity engine, using its TwinAir technology which wastes less fuel and ups the horsepower output.
This could mean that Fiat has made downsizing fun? Yes it does this car is both fun to drive and sounds like it want to be a full blood racing car when it gets full revs. It can return around 54,9mpg (24,4km/L) with manual gear-shift. I think this is a brilliant engine which makes a fun car even better with the fuel consumption, and helps to make Fiat set yet a new Co2 record for the lowest producing Co2 fleet in Europe 2010. I cannot wait to see them develop this engine further and use it more widely in it's group.

Dacia Duster, due in the UK 2012

Dacia i car company owned by French Renualt (who is dislike)  is originally from Romania, and the is responsible for 10% of the countries exports. Their cars dont try to be anything they aint, the cars are down to business with 'good' engines provided by Renualt and otherwise straight forward cars which are soundly made with very little fuss. The cars are therefore cheap and run like clockwork, of course the resell price will never be though the roof and people are not going to be turning their heads to look at you in this car.

That is exactly why i really like this car, its a workhorse which is going to keep going not because it has the newest technology in the world, but because it is super simple and just works. I would love to buy this car just to have for a off road run around, not to use everyday but only off road, because i would be able to do some proper driving without having to be careful not to hurt it, i would just treat it like a great big workhorse which i would not have to treat to nicely.

It is going to be on sale in the UK next year with a 1.6 petrol with 105bhp and 4x4 this will be the only version available to start of with but there is also a 1.5dci diesel producing 110bhp also with 4x4. There is also a 4x2 version but this will not be available in the UK just yet.

The All new VW Beetle

So the new Vw Beetle Mk3, Leading the model away from its sweet little housewife image by removing the little flower holder the old new beetle had, and they add a turbo gouge . It is going to be launched by the help of MTV and other modern day media.
Its going to be featuring some nifty turbo engines a 1.2, 1.4 & 2.0 TSI producing 105, 160 & 197 bhp, and a 1.6 TDI producing 105 bhp. I cant wait to hear more about how it drives, the looks are pretty cool but i am not sure that it can pull it of as being cool among the guys, right now i still think its a woman's car, byt if it remains that way i would surly be looking out for any woman driving a sporty version of this because i think it will be a great drivers car because of the underpinnings it shares with the VW Golf family. so i am excited to see the car in the skin and on the road
